In order to connect to our network, you need to order the required SIM cards. Don’t worry, we also offer plastic-free SIMs.
The standard SIM cards are suitable for stationary objects in normal conditions such as temperature or humidity.
The lifetime of the standard simcard is estimated to be 2 to 5 years with frequent sim activity.
2FF – Mini
€0,97* pp
3FF – Micro
€0,97* pp
4FF – Nano
€1,00* pp
The industrial SIM cards are advised for more extreme conditions eg. moving objects and smart metering applications
The lifetime of these SIM cards is estimated at 5 to 10 years with frequent SIM activity.
2FF – Mini
€1,71* pp
3FF – Micro
€1,71* pp
MFF2
€2,36* pp
Sim cards are not included in our packages. With a package you only order an environment in our IoT network in which you can configure your project. Sim cards can be ordered separately.
We consider a device active when you have registered it on our network by adding the IMEI number in your package.
You can terminate your package at any time with one month’s notice.
NB-IoT is not designed as a bandwidth service or ‘bit pipe’. Thus, we do not offer data bundles. NB-IoT is intended for small data messages sent back and forth occasionally. Based on network capacity and average NB-IoT applications, we assume an average of 120 messages per day (or 5 messages per hour).
Our IoT network is ready for use. That said, NB-IoT is a new technology that will continue to develop in the coming years. We therefore still see this as a learning phase. For our first generation customers, we do not charge for excessive use. But we do not exclude the possibility that we will contact you one day when one of your devices gets a bit too enthusiastic. 😉
Yes, a downlink post also counts as one of the 120 messages.
